Boone Park is a fabulous playground that lets your Jacksonville, FL child tap into their imagination. Their playground is the ideal spot for kids ages 2-6. The structures aren’t too steep, letting toddlers conquer the castle. While there is plenty of shade throughout the park, just keep in mind that the slides are metal, which can get pretty hot through the Florida summers.

Ed Austin Regional Park is always my recommendation for families with kids of all ages. This huge park contains a baseball diamond, a bike trail, a basketball court, a disc golf course, and a skate park. The playground features plastic equipment that will keep kids ages 2-7 occupied. This area is also surrounded by trees, offering plenty of shade.
