Most studio family sessions last 30-60 minutes, depending on the number of people and the types of portraits you want (individuals, siblings, parents, full family). The session is fully guided, so we move efficiently while keeping everyone relaxed and comfortable.

What should we wear for our family portraits?
I can help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel cohesive. Popular choices include soft neutrals, classic black‑and‑white, jewel tones, clean whites, and cozy lifestyle textures. After booking, I’ll send wardrobe guidance and can help you coordinate looks for everyone.

Can you help with posing?
Absolutely. Every session is fully guided, from posing to grouping to keeping kids engaged. Even camera‑shy adults and energetic little ones settle in quickly with a relaxed, comfortable flow.

Do you offer different background styles?
Yes! Your session can be simple and clean, cozy lifestyle, bold and colorful, or fine‑art inspired. We’ll choose backgrounds based on your family’s style and the artwork you want to display in your home. We have about 12 colors ready to go when you come into the studio, but if you are looking for a specific look please notify us at least one week ahead of time.

Can we include grandparents or extended family?
Yes! Extended family sessions are welcome. Just let me know who’s coming so I can plan groupings and posing.

Do you photograph babies, toddlers, or kids with special needs?
Yes — I work with children of all ages and abilities. Sessions are calm, flexible, and designed to help every child feel comfortable and supported. My own family has quite a few nuerodivergent members, including myself.

What happens after the session?
You’ll receive a curated gallery of beautifully edited images. I offer albums, wall art, framed prints, and heirloom products designed to last for generations. If you prefer digital files, those are available as well.

Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely — pets are part of the family. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan for it.

Do you offer outdoor family sessions?
This page focuses on studio portraits, but yes — outdoor sessions are available seasonally. If you prefer a lifestyle or outdoor look, I can recommend beautiful Jacksonville locations. These are typically done an hour before sunset and must be arranged in advance.
